Bacteria in the soil are perfectly fine in the soil but others co-exist within you. To be in a morbid state, is to be in a state of discomfort or suffering. These organisms that are aggressive and infectious are called pathogens. Bacteria does this sometime inadvertently (just happens to be the case; passive and just seeking out in existence) and deliberately (aggressive pathogens that have evolved to be acute, aggressive, and to manipulate). Bacteria infect plants and animals to increase their survival and fitness. Infection is a successful invasion of an animal or plant by a pathogen. Pathogen is an organism that causes disease. Disease 1) is the condition of being at unrest or uncomfortable; 2) is an injury to a host that impairs host function.
