Eukaryotes are larger (b/c of compartmentalizaion), they have a nuclear envelope with two membranes, and many membrane systems that create organelles and allow for difusion. Plant cells are unique in the sense that they have a cell wall, chloroplasts, and a modiied lysosome called a vacuole. They do not need an nak pump because of the cell wall. Compartmentalizaion is mediated by endomembrane systems, which produce organelles such as the nucleus, er, golgi, vesicles and lysosomes. Has an envelope w 2 membranes, contains dna as chromosomes and a nucleolus. Ribosomes (made of 4 rrna and 80 proteins) are made here from rna and proteins.
