Document Summary

Calcium and phosphate is important for teeth and bones. Valium, molybdenum and tin are also important. We need around a gram of required minerals a day. With 4 grams of table salt, we have 2. 4 grams of sodium which is more then twice the required amount of sodium we need in our diet. Some of the minerals in our diet should only be taken in micro grams which is a very small amount. Too much salt can lead to hypertension and increased blood pressure. The normals blood pressure ranges from around 80 for diastolic and 120 for systolic. High blood pressure would be more then 90 for diastolic and 140 for systolic. Potassium otherwise known as k+ has a positive charge and it is located under sodium which has a positive charge too na+ A potassium ion is larger then a sodium ion which is why it is lower in the periodic table.
