Single skeletal muscle ibre each ibre (one cell) is controlled by only one motor neuron. T tubules - project inwards from the ibre surface and make sure ap reach interior of cell. Myoibrils - contain the contracile machinery sarcoplasmic reiculum - distributed through cytoplasm, it is the er for muscle cells: funcions as storage and release area for calcium.
