Gender: boys more than girls (but referred more often bc boys should be good and sports. ) Gross motor: object manipulation, balance, awkward running pattern, frequent falling, dropping objects, imitating body positions, poor pa performance, hand-eye-coordination. Fine motor: (more seen in school in grade 1 & 2), handwriting= illegible, gripping objects, dressing: doing up buttons & zippers. Diagnostic criteria: acquisition and execution of coordinated motor skills is below the expected. Motor deficit significantly and persistently interferes with activities of daily living. Onset of symptoms is in early developmental period.
