Causes: minimal brain damage: very slight abnormal findings in eeg, slight and specific impairment. Biochemical disturbances: food colouring, flavouring, insufficient vitamin production (thought to cause). Learning environment: poor teaching, lack of motivation, poor family attitude, family difficulties. Of people with learning disability but no specific gene identified.
