It helped me improve in areas such as communication, thinking and also provided me with essential skills to be successful through my university career. Throughout the course, i gained valuable experience and resources, which improved my overall learning and success in other course as well. The various elements in this course helped contribute to my development over this term. A large component of this course revolved around in-class tutorials which consisted of mentorship and the completion of mris. These mris were in-class assignments that were completed in groups. Mentorship was beneficial as it allowed students to be guided by mentors whom were in the same position as the students before. The mentor"s experience and ability to relate with students, aided in the progression and transition of first-year students to university.
