Interoperation of info received by sense organs (higher order) 2: similar study conducted on babies (with decent visual acuity) and present them in front of two stimuli. To what extent are sensory skills adult-like at birth and in infancy. We will discuss 3 of the 5 senses: vision, hearing, taste. Visual acuity keenest and sharpness of visual senses. Tracking as an object moves our eyes change direction to follow. Auditory acuity babies can hear most sound aside from high pitches due to prenatal experience and it"ll take a short amount of time two differentiate pitches. Locating sounds pinpoint the source of the sound for faster response rate. Sound sure hits the closer ear rst than the second one by passing through the head. Brain calculates the location of the sound by time arrival difference. Slightly different tones between ears to calculate the location of the source.
