Canada and can be eroding our national identity. The broadcasting act and crtc purpose is to ensure canadian content in media to enhance our identity. How we create society on the basis of our everyday micro-level interactions. People are creating and recreating society through interactions. We know on and o ine people and the groups don"t always overlap, di erent groups of friends. Media determinism- the media controls our behaviour and how we think, spend money, think about social issues and political beliefs.
