If we believe in learning, we believe in changing our minds. It"s okay to feel challenged because when you"re challenged you"re learning. Gender studies 120 women, gender and difference. Gender studies are in everyday life because its in our identities. We express ourselves through that identity so we should talk and learn about it. Cultures are completely different (canada vs. venezuela) beliefs and opinions and the way we act will be different too. Women are seen as less powerful than men. Main goal of gender studies is to end oppression and demeaning of women all over the world. Talking about present issues but still talking about the past and seeing how we ended up where we are today. To end sexism and oppressions through not only women but gender and race. About race, roles, stereotypes, against any kind of oppression. Not anti-male despite the media bringing forth stories of feminists being anti-male.
