Provided natural protection , main source of transport, allowed for an army. Middle kingdom 11th - 13th dynasty 1975-1640 bce. New kingdom 18th - 20th dynasty 1539-1075 bce. Power of pharaoh made egypt stable and powerful entity, dynastic monarchy. They believed in resurrection (resurrection used) , belief spread through the society. Horus, falcon god , gods represent with head of emblematic animal. Used gold, it lives forever as well as other durable materials. Palette of narmer : tells story of military victory.
