When fibres come out of spinnerate their in natural state and having this agent in solution will allow them to accept dye in fibre state. Added to solution so fibre will not be as flammable. Some fibres are naturally flame resistant: aramid, glass, seran. Inhibits growth of bacteria, e. g. when you sweat it stays on body.
