We don"t read words we see shapes and symbols first. Serif has feet on ends of letters. Sans serif has no feet, is smoother. Easier to read a lot of text when it is serif. Font - a complete set of characters in a particular style of type. Negative leading: lines overlap, sense of pressure, urgency. Kerning - the space in between 2 letters. Kinetic type - mix of text and motion used over time to convey a particular feeling. We are the biggest products on our feed, the biggest advertisers and advertisements. Interested parties are accessing our data all the time. Underlying problem is that we think we own our devices. Data is collected, analyzed and used to try to sell us stuff. Personalized advertising is how these companies make money and is why so much of the internet is free to use. We are the product not the customer.
