Our are appreciation of tastes of are constantly evolving. We have 1000"s of tstebuds that are disturbutd throughout tongue capable of percieivng various componnents. How important our perceptions are when we put something in our mouth what we should avoid and what we like and don"t like. Our mouths and sense other sense are always alert to defend against potential harm- gatekeepers walls of protection don"t injest the kind of foods that are harmful. We don"t all taste the same- when you taste spinach- not the same way that your father tastes it- appears that we all taste differently sensible and logical everyone doesn"t like the same foods. There is a difference between you and me- the number of tastebuds is age- as we age we loose a lot of our capacities- not a surprise that our sense of taste- diminishes.
