Some informal behaviour works against the best interests if the organizaion as a whole. Diversion of work eforts form important objecives. Feelings of alienaion by outsiders persons who are let out of informal groupings. Departmentalizaion: grouping together people and jobs into work units. Specializaion consistent with professional training- clear career paths.
