Tourism is made up of many segments, the principal ones being transportation, accommodations, food service, shopping, travel arrangements, and activities for tourists such as history, culture, adventure, sports, recreation, entertainment etc. Tourism technology: as new devices and its improvements appear so do people skilled in web technologies, user interface, modules, database management, business analysis and computer graphics. Airlines: jobs can include flight attendants, engineers, aircraft mechanics, ticket agents, airline food service jobs and even opportunities with the federal aviation administration (faa). They hire air traffic controllers and other specialists to meet safety requirements. Bus companies: info clerks, bus drivers, training employees, ticket agents, sales representatives etc. Cruise companies: the cruise industry is the fastest growing segment in tourism as the jobs include recreation directors, market researches, ceo"s, and clerical workers. Railroads: they hire managers, conductors, engineers, station agents, traffic analysts etc. Rental car companies: service agents, mechanics, rental sales agents etc.
