Overview of the following landmarks in the mouth. Outline cranial nerves and describe how they are tested. Test when there is a reported loss of smell, head trauma, and with abnormal mental status and when the presence of an intracranial lesion is suspected. With person"s eyes closed occlude one nostril and present aromatic substance try bilaterally with one scent each side. Go to the dentist regularly to check teeth and gums. Floss daily, see dental hygienist 2x a year. Regular physical checkups to assess nose, mouth tonsils, and throat. Eat, rest, and wash hands adequately to avoid colds and throat infections. If sinus becomes painful seek out your doctor. Peripheral you hear your teacher talking, the sound waves travel to your ears, the amplitude is medium, pitch is normal.
