Food fetishism - we talk about colonization, we do this with food as well. That is the way it sometimes works out in society. In the 1950"s there were limits as to what food was deemed acceptable - food ways - each country, region, family has its own food ways. It is a system in which food is sourced, prepared, consumed, and disposed of.
