Seven education systems were studied: berlin, ontario, scotland, chile, kenya, They were selected because there"s a range of experiences in these education systems: How they support and develop their teaching profession, educational performance and equity, and their nature. Was amongst the highest performing education systems. They had to go through a major reinvestment in education. Went through many political changes and dismantling of education systems. They are moving heavily towards the use of privatization, which has not been particularly effective. Has had issues about recruitment, training and access to high quality resources.
