MGMC01H3 Lecture Notes - Lecture 8: Scale Of Temperature, Likert Scale, Kelvin
Document Summary
Class reflection week 8 by: alyssa karpouzis 999120179. Today"s class was a presentation on the case due this week about blue mountain resort. After the group conducted their presentation, we as a class discussed what would constitute as a proper sample size. We have concluded that as long as the sample is randomly distributed, then according to what we have learned in statistics, an appropriate sample size would be 30 or more. Therefore, if the sample size is large enough (30+) you will get a normal distribution. Also, if you have a sample size of 100 or more then you will really see a trend in the data. We also noted that if there is nothing acting on the sample then it most probably will be randomly distributed. The sample should also be distributed geographically, demographically, etc.
