Power of morality narratives and urban legends to keep circulating and veil the truth/authority and in some cases have some real consequences. Have to think about what impact it had at all. Expression in our particular popular culture at the moment modulates around the question on what truth is. Urban legends play a role in it but there"s no cause and effect.
