Document Summary

Meerkat and ground squirrels make alarm calls when they see a predator coming. this will increase the risk of the caller, but will increase the fitness of other. Birds, and meerkat show cooperative breeding a third individual that help with breeding and increase reproductive success of others. Eusociality animals live in colonies ants, wasps, bees, etc. The non-reproductive colony members work to increase the fitness of queen ant, or queen bee. The interaction with other organisms in the same species. Increase others reproductive success at a cost of own. Possible shared direct benefits e. g. shared direct benefits: One cheetah mother has two offspring, there"s a threat of male infanticide . Two cheetah mothers have their offspring, and threats became low because there"re two cheetahs scanning for infanticide males. At a lower cost, because their offspring survival rate increased. The cheetah without offspring is benefiting from this behavior investing energy and risk seems disadvantage.
