Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom. We have causes and we can influence them. ^by choosing we get to take reality and choose our own adventure and make our own story. Intrinsic: deep meaningful, based on things you love maybe bc you are fascinated by it basically wanting to do something bc of this vision of you have for the future. Extrinsic: makes things more of a drag , superficial motivations which is why you"ll burn out quicker. Reality is a story, told to us by our brains. If reality doesn"t affect us directly, things get interesting. Reality is out there-but with us there is this inner subjectivity. What of this subjectivity isn"t connected to this outside reality- we can essentially choose and do something and design your own roller coaster.
