Psychopathology : something to keep in mind . Magic begins to disappear as we grow up and life becomes more mundane. Most characteristics is internalizing the outside world either through assimilation or in contrast. If we accept a certain frame mind, the way we react to new situations depends on that frame of mind. The process of diagnosing someone with a specific disorder is not an exact science and it struggles with precision in diagnosis and treatment for many reasons : The perceptions, biases and errors of psychologists doing the diagnosing and the treatment. The multi-faceted nature of disorders (eg. co-morbidity and the problem of overlapping symptoms) The inherent uncertainty and imprecision of people"s subjectivity. People who go into the mental health field (either as a client or for loved ones) are vulnerable who are looking for clarity. Professionals talk from a position of power, huge power difference between professional and client.
