Many diff. kinds of motivation- but ways you choose habitually not all equal (some objectively better) learn how to better motivate people to create change (very practical questions: motivation can be mixed with emotion. Society has terrible understanding of motivation (terrible/counterproductive approaches- esp. long term seem powerful but not) Development: understanding yourself over time (understand how it affects you) Work with emotional system quality of life (emotions is everything that defines it) E. g. temperament of infants- can be calm or volatile (biological/nature-hardwired from birth) can change (give security, etc. ) through proper upbringing/nurture. Prenatal and infant development are both heavily affected by environmental factors. Person"s stress has a lot to do with aversive conditions? (social environment, etc. ) Our cultures are constructing us biologically : amount of physical touch brain development (hormonal and physiological processes) Emotional responsiveness (of caregivers) and grounding achievement and relationship outcomes for decades (affects security rest of life) Food (nutrition)- e. g. brain myelination, mental health (usually nutritional changes/deficits)
