In tampopo, the dark colors of the kitchen surfaces make the widow"s red dress stand out: costume and make-up (e. g. lola"s hair; have meanings in settings) costume is coordinated with setting. Ll light: a less intense illumination that lls in, soften- ing or eliminating shadows cast by the key light backlight mixing light sources three-point lighting: key light, ll light, and backlight classic hollywood lighting to give the character value.
