Therefore, any other type of sex was prohibited. Church became obsessed with punishing those who engaged in other types of sex with other people. Ideas deviant behaviour intensified with the emergence courtly love. Originated in south of france by troubadours (travelling musicians and poets) Courtly love"s name emerged because it being practiced in royal court. Courtly love rejected economic union; instead based on romantic feelings.
