Production participation versus service experience: this is the diagram of (production of service on x axis, and production participation on the y axis) Classifying services: participant services, spectator services, sponsorship services, donor services, social ideas. An important element is what is happening when the service is produced, consumed, and how they are marketed (sold) to us. Diagram in text for classification of services. Participant services: something you consume for participating. It engages them in sport, pa, or health related reasons. E. g. go to the gym with a personal trainer. Or going to a doctor about your knee. There is direct engagement between the client and the producer: this service does not occur without a client, human services. Spectator services: engaged in the service, but in a different level, services that provide an entertainment value to clients, still have to be involved, but not the active engagement in the same way.
