If others do(cid:374)"t trust or respe(cid:272)t the leader, it (cid:449)ill (cid:271)e diffi(cid:272)ult for the(cid:373) to de(cid:448)elop commitment for and energy to work on the leader"s (cid:448)ie(cid:449) of (cid:449)hat (cid:272)a(cid:374) (cid:271)e or should be done. Results: outcomes of leadership: the choices leaders make about what outcomes to focus on reflect their values and assumptions, most leaders in business put profits top of the list but it can vary. We can think of leadership skills as clustering around three areas: strategic thinking/visioning, garnering the commitment of others to that vision or strategy, and monitoring and measuring progress toward the vision.
