Bob manners is the ceo of manners editing. One division of the the firm does book editing for publishers; proof readers are paid to review a publisher"s manuscripts (spelling, grammar, typeset, etc) before that draft is sent for final printing. The other division prints and binds books; this division prints only those books that are not going to sell enough copies to make it worthwhile for traditional publishers to print them (e. g. , family histories or phd dissertations). Bob manner is considering the making following new policy concerning work location: all salaried staff can choose to work whenever and wherever (home, office, cottage) they want. They do not need to ask for prior approval and no one will keep track of their time away from the office. The employee can decide if they want to take a few hours, a day, a week or a month off.
