The female only exist in relation to the male. Women in film slow the narrative down; they inspire men to act. Men push the narrative forwards and make things happen. Appreciating and desiring the woman as an erotic object . An erotic object for the characters within the narrative to view. An erotic object for the spectators in the cinema to view.
