Drugs and chemicals: used in the 50s to treat morning sickness, racemic mixture. Large babies (deformation: cardiac malformations, cns malformations, kidney malformations, the severity of the malformations is related to degree of control of maternal diabetes during the pregnancy, radiotherapy for treatment of cancer, atomic bomb explosions.
