Aristotle"s view of happiness is entirely unlike utilitarianism. Bentham says: pleasure is an internal state that you are conscious while you are experiencing. Mill talks about happiness rather than pleasure but even though he uses a different word he"s still focused on pleasure - focused on a certain kind if pleasure. With regard to a lot of things different people have different levels of sensitivity. Different people have different levels of perpetual sensitivity (5 senses) Sometimes there are sounds for thinking one of the people is right and one is wrong. Sometimes, there are grounds for thinking that one of the people is right and one is wrong. There is a kind of test that we can perform. We sometimes have good reason to think that some people will be more sensitive to certain kinds of differences than others. This example has to do with the sound characteristics of the performances that are recorded of the same piano piece.
