Finite: limited, so much to go around. Inequality can produce social stability and or social change. If everyone is equal nothing will get done: natural leaders and keep things stable. Social conditions reflect ongoing power struggles between privilege and subordinate group. Lessening privilege will decrease conflict an increase human welfare.
