A nation state: a group of people who address themselves as being one by culture and other similarities, such as cultural practises and religion, food, etc. Its a sense of belonging together as a a group with meaning, shared by like mentioned, culture, religion, etc. Its an institutionalized and patterned set of beliefs, values, religion and practices. Beliefs ( views on life and death ) Values ( how to lead the good life ) Practises ( covering/uncovering the head as a sign of respect ) -cultural. Can there not be just one human belonging, therefore, leading to a one whole nation?) Nationalism is the drive of a nation (a group of people)to get its own state. There are various countries today, that are fighting as a nation (a group) to have their own nation or state. Power are heavily influenced by the state: military,law,education, etc.
