Western fantasies of body image and sexual identity: the dominant fantasies around these things in the us and canada are different from each other, and are continuously changing throughout the years. Can be noticed in regards to what is acceptable on television. Dominant fantasy criteria for normal sexuality: sexuality is heteronormative (heterosexual being normal anything outside of this is othered and often considered abnormal) The inability to have penetration of the reproductive sort is not very easy. Shih tan story: circumcision as child abuse, the notion that bodies are somehow pure and pristine things.
