Allergy: result of a hypersensitive immune system, evil part of the immune system, abnormal sensitivities to antigens, allergen are antigens that cause allergies, there are 2 types of allergies: seasonal and chronic, pollen is seasonal, dust mites are found everywhere (considered to chronic) Food allergies: some foods may contain allergens, cause diarrhea, vomiting and other gastrointestinal signs and symptoms, can lead to an anaphylactic shock (people can be killed if they are not taken care of quickly enough, mainly (but not only) affect kids, affects babies through breastfeeding. Treatment of anaphylactic shock: anaphylactic shock is an especially dangerous type of allergic reaction, emergency medical care (asap, can be counteracted (temporarily), with injections of epinephrine, epinephrine neutralizes many of the mechanisms of anaphylaxis, relax smooth muscle and reduce vascular permeability, gives some time to get an emergency medical help, benadryl has a similar effect and can buy time.
