Focus more on the people leading the organization and the least accepted. Decisions must be political for them to be effectively implemented in the organization whether it be bad or good. Need to have the buy-in for people who can oppose or block the action. Power and interests, coalition-building and negotiation, conflict and conflict resolution all important aspects. Inability or unwillingness to deal with the political aspects of an organization serious handicap for someone who wants to be effective.
