Soma (cell body) contains the nucleus, which contains dna: dendrites. Extensions of the cell body that receive information from other cells: axons. Extension of the cell body that transmits information to other cells. Pathway for electrical signals: myelin sheath surrounds the axon insulates the axon and speeds up impulse.
