Document Summary

Most americans would argue that life isn"t worth living if we aren"t living lavishly. The american mindset is one that is focused on achievements and success. We strive to be the best that we can be. Most americans set up life so that they will be comfortable in the long run. They work until they are no longer able to work. They climb up the social ladder and once they have reached the top, only then are they allowed to stop and enjoy life. They would go through the same routine every single day just longing for the adventure that will come after once they feel they are stable enough to do so. Sure there are benefits to this, but they are all long run benefits. Others would argue that this is the only way to live. We have to work and maintain a stable job because that is what we know to do.
