Play allows children to develop on several areas: Motor activities contribute to brain development and are essential for organization of the nervous system. Although some adult involvement can be good, development should not be forced. At this age what infants need most is freedom and space to move. Leisure programming for optimal infant development hs become part of the leisure industry. Egocentrism : children can only see things from their point of view. Divided into two sections: toddlers and preschoolers.
