Talked about media without using content analysis, surveys, and experiments; without testing his ideas. The electronic age: audio and visual electronic communication, the electronic age encourages an all-at-once information processing, thinking is less linear, less logical, more spontaneous more like the tribal era, time and space limitations nearly vanish. Connects the world into a massive, modern-day tribal community, or a global village. People across the world now more similar psychologically and emotionally. A channel through which communication travels: print, television, radio, internet. The text, images, sounds, and videos that are communicated through media. A book is an extension of our eye. Electricity is an extension of our central nervous system. A hot medium extends one single sense in high definition". High definition: the state of being filled with data. Newspapers and radio are also high definition.
