Government will soon start to increase class sizes from grades 4 - 12, removing special education funding, requiring all high school students to take four mandatory online courses, and osap cuts. Government"s proposed many cuts to public education which will end up in a disaster. First, let"s talk about the class sizes increasing from grades 4-12. The class size is said to be roughly around 30 students. I know this might not sound much, but think about it, the more students there are, the less time a student has to ask questions, and less space students will have. Having more students in a class is also hard for the teacher to handle, since there might be more distractions and more students goofing around. Another major cut proposed is removing special education funds.
