Continues backward until it hits and ends at central sulcus. However in humans, involves planning of life movements. Primary cortex called motor strip ends at central sulcus precentral central sulcus motor strip. Responsible for sensations from the body/somatosensory input. Mapped differently eg. tumor at top, therefore no feeling in feet. Spaces in brain filled with spinal fluid. 4 ventricles: 2 lateral ventricles one in each hemisphere third in thalamus. Cerebral aqueduct fourth connects into hindbrain important for diagnosing tumors/hematomas through xray when no other machines are available. Brain uses cerebral ventricles to sense within.
