Culture you experienced 5 years ago is different from that now. It is constructive and influenced by the members of the culture. It shapes as well meaning it influences you. We define it in terms of nationality, the country you were born in. the heritage shapes who you are. Identification of a culture is a shared id. The culture that will affect you is the one which you identify the most with. It gives us symbols, language experiences that make us who we are. It provides us with metaphysics, perception of the world, why we are here. Culture comperative: a universalist approach to cultural psych that assumes basic psychological processes are fundamental in all humans. Thinks variation between culture is comparable to within culture variation.
