Before further explaining, a brief summary of the parable before the law". Kafka"s universe makes no sense and a lot of hidden and unhidden messages can be extracted from it, but the true purpose perhaps lies with kafka in his grave. The best way to interpret it is through a very common theme rebellion! He is halted by a gatekeeper who denies him entrance and tells him he cannot access the law at that time, but that he must wait. The countryman believed that the law should be accessible to everyone at all times. The gatekeeper tells the man that the door is unguarded but he is forbidden from going through it, and that if he went through it, the there are stronger guards beyond the first door.
