When a man becomes a father, it drops as soon as they have pretty much held their child: makes people more risky heroic acts, criminal acts, violent, promotes high sex drive in both women and men. People with testosterone shots (transsexuals) increase sex drive. Those with testosterone inhibitors drop in sex drive: two parts to belongingness, people want some kind of regular social contract. Negative social contracts (fighting/arguing) is not satisfying the need to belong. Some want lots but most like to stick to 4-6 close relationships. Close friends = more important than casual friends: not belonging causes people to be unhappy and suffer = unhealthy. Norton, frost, ariely people believe that the more they get to know someone, the more they will like them but this is untrue: attraction to others = social not cultural (for all animals) Shock, military, living close by, etc: because of conditioning positive associations.
