A leader"s job is to find and promote the positive. The leader sets the tone for the culture, attitudes, and desired future of the organization. If a leader was seen as very strong results, the % of that leader being seen as great was. If a leader was strong on social skills, such as empathy, the leader was seen as a great leader only 12% of the time. When combined, the likelihood of being seen as a great leader increases to 72% Negativity bias: how the human mind reacts more quickly and strongly to perceived bad things than it does to good things. Even minimal bad feelings associated with a task or person, your mind will notice and focus on those rather than on the existing good feelings or qualities. People pay more attention to negative happenings than to positive ones. Does not mean you are always positive, just means that you handle negative situations in a positive manner.
