Women now receive 60% of university degrees. Women also represent a majority of the workforce. Pr people must be sensitive to society"s new multicultural realties. With the great opportunities corporations were afforded, they needed to give back to society through participation in and contributions to not-for-profit organizations committed to confront society"s most pressing problems from poverty to education to health enrichment. Corporate giving in the second decade of the 21st century has shown three trends: corporate giving is becoming more focused. Companies are choosing to make larger gifts to fewer causes: matching gifts are a high priority the value of their personal giving, international giving is on the rise. Matching gifts are a great way for employees to maximize. Partly driven by overseas profits, which are difficult to bring home without incurring big tax liabilities.
