Critical thinking imp. to good assessment because allows you to see the big picture when you form conclusions or make decisions about client"s health condition. When gathering data, synthesize relevant knowledge, recall prior client experiences, ap- ply critical thinking standards and available evidence, use standards of practice to direct assessment.
